steer clear of those sale day purchases

if it a photo of an australian retailer then forward it to consumer affairs. they like pointing out misrepresentation of consumer's rights to retailers

No you can still link to photos. However Markdown syntax on OzBargain has been modified so you can't display images directly in the posts/comments. As of where you can host your photos — feel free to use those free image hosting sites or upload to OzBargain media uploader site.
