    wasn't it always $10 for 1 GB/month?

    • Belong ditched their $10 plan in July.

      https://www.belong.com.au/go/mobile

(Frustrating because I bought a $40 starter pack wanting four-month's use for an upcoming project, but now I'm told I can only use it on their $25 and $40 plans.)

But yeah, this isn't really a bargain. There are plenty of $9-10 plans out there.

I think, If you use a referral link & activate it on $25 plan & then change to $10 plan you can get 4 months.
        1st month $25
        2nd month $10 ($40-$25=$15)
        3rd month $10 (from referral credit $20)
        4th month $10 (from referral credit $20)
You'll still have $5 left in your account end of 4th month.
Sorry if my explanation is not clear enough.

        • Great. Just what I need. Thanks.

this has been the normal price for belong for a long time now

  • Plus carryover data and Telstra makes this amazing

  • +2

    This is the normal price.

    • And it's been like that for quite a looking time!

  • This has been the same for a long time. I personally have my wifi with letsbemate.com.au and they have $10 off per month on mobile Sim which makes my $20 Sim plan to $10 per month for 5gb data with up to 40 GB data carryover

    • If only for data get a Telstra plan for $15/mth. 20GB and unlimited shaped data on the S plan. $25 with $10 bill credit for 12 months.

  • OP, welcome to the future :)
At the moment, 4G plans are dirty cheap.
Did you come from 1990s, 2000s or 2010?

By the way, the current US president is Donald Trump.
You probably already know from one of the Simpsons episodes broadcasting in your rear.

      WAS president

      • Unfortunately he carries that title until the any trial, and even there the situation is unclear.
I'd forgotten that when I noticed references to " the Vice-president" in article talking about Biden's debates, when the spectre known as Spence was also not physically present…

  • existing pricing since launch

  • this is the normal price for ages

I think what OP want to emphasise is that now the $10/month plan does not exist for the new signups but it's still available by downgrading from higher priced plans.

People who did not know about belong plans in the past might not know about this 'hidden' plan.

  • OP, how do you get the $10 plan? When I log in to Belong and try to activate a second SIM, the $10 plan isn't listed

    • +1

I think you can only change to it on 2nd month

    • +1

Because I believe you were doing a new signup?

      • Thanks, @mymedicineisbargain and @codvision.

Yes, it clearly says in the deal description:

However, after first month billed you can still switch to this plan"

Which I promise I did actually read… and then promptly switched off my brain :(

Wait around 10 days, and then change to $10. I think option to change will appear by that time.

          https://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/belongmobile

From Whirlpool "Plans are billed on the same date monthly. Initial billing dates are every 8 days (e.g. 4th, 12th, 20th, 28th May 2018). The time between activation and the next available billing date is "free"."

          • @chamaniw: They changed it now, this wont work.

I negged because I believe this is not a deal, it is a long running product (like the no interest credit card) and it should be in a forum or a wiki page for info….
