No, not stupid, just not taught. I Googled " Are Cashews nuts " and learnt that they are in fact seeds. Neither did I know that Almonds and Walnuts are not nuts too. So, your statement is wrong if it was directed at me or the millions of other people who do or did not know that Cashews are seeds.

@reloxation: Yeah, I am fine. I just took what he wrote rather demeaning. Normally I would just ignore people who write to try and get a rise out of others. Just being factual. It really doesn't faze me if he was implying that I am stupid, maybe he wasn't. I was just explaining that there is a difference between being stupid and being uneducated. If you found my writing as being unfriendly, well, yes you are right. But I wasn't being rude either, just being straight down the line. No BS.
Oh, and my last sentence was genuine. I realise it can be very difficult to work out if someone is being sarcastic or not and I was certainly not being sarcastic.

@omblygombly: His statement was wrong/misleading anyway. The warning is a simple industry-wide label to advise people with nut allergies that this is one such product. Although Australians often associate the warning with peanuts, severe allergic reactions to cashews (and other non-"nuts") is a real.
This was the same price all last week.

I bought some the last time they were on sale - bland and not worth the money. Would rather pay a bit more for a better quality product.
