      Pretty mild downside for something that stays plugged in 24/7

        Lol, I switch keyboards a few times a week. But that's just me.

          May I ask why one would do such a thing? I would hate having to get used to a new keyboard over and over again.

          • @essent1al: Hah I've seen pictures of collectors with a dozen $300+ custom keyboards, some people just like to mess with them

          • @essent1al: I collect keyboards

              @giventofly: What's your top 3?

              • @dutch: Of the ones I own:
                IBM Model M
                Vortex Race 3
                Drop CTRL High Profile.

                Haven't got any of the super artisan ones as $$$

            @essent1al: Getting used to a keyboard what are you 60

              @bargone: Every keyboard is different.. in competitive gaming it can affect your gameplay, movement etc. I returned a $300 Logitech keyboard because the ctrl button was different. What are you, 12?
