Cheap and probably crappy write speed drive, but great price. There was a 16gb one next to it for $5.49, so this is probably worth the jump in cost.
Now with slidy-in-bit!
Plenty of stock when I looked instore: https://i.imgur.com/e8kajrb.jpg

transfer 32GB by USB2.0 will take 2 hours?
If say read/write speed is 10MB/s then that would be 53 minutes…
Faster than one of my cheap n nasty USB 3 drives lol.
But yeah, USB 2 is suited more for write-once, read-many these days.
Maybe as a boot/repair disc for Windows 98/XP. ;)
These are excellent for gifts or if you are doing something like giving someone a bunch of photos or stuff to them - because read speed is usually fine enough.
Not sure if this is a great price but for few dollars more you can get a 32GB USB3.0 @ Amazon

edit: upon reading the reviews it appears the speeds of this drive is not flash ;P
Looks the same. Usb3 is just a label. The whole usb labelling spec is poor these days.
I can't remember the exact label, but there is a usb 3 gen 1 or something (it's not that exact one), and it means 480mbps interface and whatever speeds.
Just went in to Officeworks and the three-pack Verbatim 32GB Pop USB2 is $17.48, so works out to $5.83/stick.
Nice!
If you are flashing a motherboard Bios (as many ryzen buyers may have to) basic USB 2 drives often work better than nice new ones for whatever reason.
USB 2.0 ouch… prob not worth it
