Hoy hoy roach traps. Very effective for me when I was in Campsie. Almost roach free after 2 weeks of use.
can you get these at bunnings?
I dont think bunnings sell them.
@foxmulder, where to get these from?
Try Catch.
Bought some at Bunnings about 4 months ago. Near the rest of the cockroach sprays.
do you have any link or name of the product you bought? And what is your feedback about it?
The 2L DIY pest sprays from Bunnings work well. Also make sure there is nothing around to attract them like pet food bowls etc.
an open jar with a small amount of something to attract them. they climb in but can't get out
Huntsman spiders …. free if you catch the spiders yourself!
Anyone aware of this stuff? feedback?
Roachkill 5g Cockroach Gel Bait
https://www.bunnings.com.au/roachkill-5g-cockroach-gel-bait_…Syngenta Advion ABW6J07101 30g Cockroach Control Bait Gel
https://www.ebay.com.au/p/14026509541?iid=254441418505The Advion gel is a well known product, used it in the past with good results… but the one you linked to doesn't look like the original. It's meant to have blue+green packaging and come in 30g which is way more than you'd need for an ordinary house - bought one last week and used maybe 1 or 2g, no use for the rest :(.
Also heard Maxforce Gold is a good alternative.
Get commercial products and use them.
You want this in the kitchen hinges, a tiny little 2mm dot every so often back of cupboards etc, all around the food sources.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Temprid-Cockroach-Ants-Spiders-B…I wonder if any of this stuff is safe for pets?
Are pests safe for pets?
Gave up on roach baits after 2 years with no results, turns out their offspring develop a mutation that turns them off the baits/sugar based baits.
Was at my wits end last month with the first hot night of the year and so got on the youtube and found this home remedy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJKuUtQ7GPo&t=1s
Honestly 5 weeks later and they're gone, you see them slow down in the first week like they're drunk then they start popping up in the garden dead.
SImple as egg yolks, boric acid and sugar. (The protein in the yolks attracts the cockroaches that aren't keen on sugar)
Cleared them out, just leave them in high roach areas in cupboards/near bins and you'll be laughing. And yes keep them away from children and dogs.
What about Cats?
Not really a fan of cats personally
Might want to keep them out of reach of them as well
I guess…
Want to try this but I’m worried my dog would it
