    I use a Garmin RV-770 for my 4WD and a GPSMap 276Cx for my dual sport bike. Smart phones aren't rugged enough and the Garmin's can be easy to put extra maps like Topo, Marine and Touring maps like HEMA.

  So happy with the Tom Tom map on my iPhone.
  It will not be easy to go back to use other free nav maps

  I bought one for my NZ trip. It was excellent. I had a Navman years ago and it was so slow to recalibrate if you missed a turn off. The TomTom was much more user friendly
