Citi Cyber Monday Competition - Amazon eVoucher Received Unexpectedly

Did anyone of you participated on the Citi Cyber Monday App Review competition? According to the t&c, only the first 1000 who completes it are supposed to get a $50 Amazon eVoucher. I completed it within minutes after receiving the the text link. Upon completion, it said I was not one of the first 1000 participants. So I thought I am not getting a voucher. However, on last Friday, I received an email from digitalglue with a $50 eVoucher for participating in the competition. I didn’t trust it. So I called and emailed Citi for Confirmation. They said it’s real and I was able to redeem the voucher. Is there anyone else who has received even though you were not one of the first 1000 people?

    I was one of the first 1000 and the voucher worked so I know the email is legit.

    On the same email, it says, "*If you have unexpectedly received a voucher, we’re pleased to let you know that you were so close to being within the first 1,000 to complete that we wanted to reward you anyway. We hope you enjoy the reward!".
