Great price - Time to chase the rard again..
Shiny Charizard V goes for $200-350ish on eBay.
Cries at MTG cards
its a scam.
Have heard multiple reports of these being resealed - would not buy when there's 0 chance of pulling either zard
I'm not sure about the resealing, but the production for this set has been very bad. bad cuts, cards not centered, some even having the card be trapped under the seal
More errors , more value!! Haha
More than likely this is stock that has been bought previously by people, then opened, and resealed then returned for a refund.
Amazon should tighten their security protocols on this, it's totally extorting the consumers. A pokemon booster pack isn't something that is warranted a return, you already know why your buying a pokemon booster pack. Refunds should be 100% denied.
yes i'd be vary careful. ordered about 10 boxes of the marnie premium collection (at around 85$ each comapred to $130 at EB).
I don't believe the boxes boosters have been tampered with, however there was visible transit damage on 9 out of 10 of the boxes. Amazon refunded me the 9 and i ended up keeping 1 for the kids. I did end up pulling a shiny charizard in the one i kept though, so i know its definitely not tampered.
I've ordered some of the ETB's (arriving early Jan) from Amazon. I figured if there is any issues, atleast i should be able to get a refund.
EDIT: regarding the print quality etc, i noticed the marnie sets i got, the packets were looser and not as tight as the ones i previously had (which probably suggests these were from the reprint batches). The cards were also better quality in terms of edging and centering.
Read the reviews, a lot saying the packs have been resealed or glued meaning they have been tampered with. I would avoid.
