Ring Spotlight/Floodlight Camera - Can It Withstand Rain?

Hi All,

I am thinking of getting a Ring Spotlight or Floodlight security camera. I want to mount it on fascia (under the gutter). Just a bit concerned about the rain and if it can cause any damage to the camera. As it will be under the gutter, there won't be huge amount of rain falling directly on the camera, just sometimes due to strong winds, the water can get to it.

Has anyone installed this and what's the feedback?

PS : I have searched the internet and it seems that IP rating for spotlight camera is 55. Although, it is not specified on the ring website.

    I have a spotlight and it sits outside under a bit of cover and have never had issues with rain.
