Not too bad for those after just the Chromecast. Doesn't work on Gaming but I tried the $10 sign up voucher on Chromecast & it works but you need to make up the $50 to get $10 off

      had the same problem. Waited a while for an email with my usual email address but I must have signed up with them before. Moved the "." in my gmail address and recevied an email within a few minutes :)

      Good spot - given i just bit the bullet with the good guys an hour ago for $59 less 10% - will cancel this morning.

      Hard to tell from the specs. Can't remember if there was a separate 4K version or if this was just 1080p?

          @zeefiraph: If you're upgrading, regardless of 4K or not, this will be a big upgrade. Everything about the newer ones just works better.

    Pretty sure the Chromecast 3 was still 1080p, as it was only the Chromecast Ultra that supported 4k

  Need help: Just got confused which one to buy this one or google tv with lattitude offer. I have old tv 1080p unable to justify another $30 more with 4k option (my tv doesnt support)

  is it really necessary infuture if i upgrade to 4K tv still need google tv will be useful?

    For the price you will be spending on a 4K TV, getting a new Chromecast then will be negligible. Plus, a lot of TVs have built in Chromecast so you might not need a new one when you get a new one.

        Just for the people who downvoted , Chromecast when connected with bluetooth gives consistent problem.
        Bought one recently and still repenting it.

  Firetv lite is $49.
  Remote and Alexa built in. I think that’s a better product than this.
