  I got Bioshock 2 on eBay for $9.95 inc. shipping - much rather have a physical copy for an extra 5 bucks than having to download. And I can resell when I'm done.

    to each their own. i prefer the digital on steam, where i can delete and reinstall whenever i want without worrying about where i leave my cds :)

      Also I've been buying PC games since '93 and have not ONCE misplaced a CD or DVD. I still have boxes and original manuals/CDs for games that I bought nearly 12 years ago. I don't want to waste 10GB or more of my 50GB monthly usage downloading a game, nor do I want to use up all of my monthly usage re-downloading all of my games after a reformat, for example.

    If you buy the PC version and activate it on Steam, how can you resell it when you're done?

      I believe bioshock is also GFWL, so no need to use the key in the first place.

    Unfortunately not. Only the games that say "DRM: Requires a 3rd party download and account" in the 'Game Summary' section above the system requirements on the game product page are redeemable on Steam. You can view a full list of those games here.

    I did intentionally leave Bioshock 2 out of the little statement under the table because it didn't appear to require Steam.
