  Is Dead Island Definitive Edition online only? The game sounds interesting but I don’t play online.

    Offline single player or online 4 player co-op. It can be played completely offline but online is a lot of fun!

    I played them on XBox 360 and more recently on PS4. Only ever played them offline. It’s heaps of fun. Cut scenes act like you’re always with 3 other people but it doesn’t actually hurt gameplay if your playing offline.

  Thanks. I played this originally on PS3 and have fond memories of it. I never got to the end though.

  Can anyone say firsthand if Riptide is included in the Dead Island: Definitive Edition? I've tried Googling it and it seems that it is but the results are confusing and not completely clear. The graphic on the PS store shows the cover image for both Dead Island and Riptide (the zombie head from each cover split in the middle) but then why is there a separate Dead Island Riptide: Definitive Edition for sale?

    No it doesn’t include Riptide. Dead Island Definitive Collection is the ones with both main games & Retro Revenge

        Riptide wasn't too great of a game. I absolutely loved the original Dead Island, but I couldn't keep at it with Riptide as it was just really boring.
