Booo can't finally pull the trigger on edifier speakers s

    • Came here first. Left quickly. +1 comment 😎

    • thanks, sad that physical book rarely included :(

      • To be fair, both CR and SB have 50% back on bookdepository from time to time, so it's the other exclusions that i find more annoying.

    • Thanks for putting the list together. It was very helpful

beware the products that fall under 2 categories. one with, one without CB. you''ll get nothing.

how to check the categories of an Amazon listing ?

i used to able to see this in the past,
but maybe i'm going blind, because i just see a listing's category now :-\

      • +1

I believe it is under the Product Details - Bestsellers Rank. Although it seems to be laid out differently on some products. Sometimes under Additional Details sometimes not.

*Edit also noticed that some that were imports from another amazon store didn't have it listed at all (ie UK), maybe need to check the other store to see the rank.

      Thats pathetic and defies logic!

I don't trust ShopBack anymore, when it comes to bigger amounts, they somehow try to avoid giving he cashback no matter what evidence you provide. Happened twice now

I think there’s a few other reasons why people “don’t trust ShopBack”, you’re not alone my friend!

    • +2

YMMV. I have had some sizeable cash backs from SB (from upsized promotions), such as the Sony one couple months back, successfully redeemed. I also had small ones in the past that failed to track/rejected but the amounts were too small to spend time chasing up. Similar experience with other cash back web sites like CR. Overall I am satisfied with SB's cash backs. I don't rely on cash back alone for my buying decision, so less disappointed if it does not come through.

Blame Debra…maybe they would have more luck employing Karen…

      • Karen is the new normal :)

Shopback - never again. Only CashRewards.

      • +1

        Same sh*t

    • During the BFCM deals, none of my ebay purchases tracked from SB, but the CR ones all did. Same browser, same process (using extensions), been doing this for over 4 years.

SB tends to "randomly" not track when they increase rates, or when you activate their "rewards"/"challenges", it's a rort.

There's a lot of us waiting to see what happens with SB and Dell purchases during Black Friday. They're trying to claim that I must have clicked on a Cashrewards/Honey link while inside the shopback app or had multiple tabs open inside the Shopback Android app. I've no idea how to do either! I suspect that either their app is rubbish or they're trying to scam me by not paying.

        • +1

          Likely both, lol.

    • It is the same thing with Cashrewards. Made two purchases via CR from two different stores on Black Friday, how many of them got tracked? That's right, zero.

Even with an ad blocker disabled it is still hit and miss.

  • Does anyone know if Nintendo switch eligible for cashback?

    • Games consoles and video games always fall under the 0% cashback unless they have a special promotion — this isn't one of them.

      • I guess I will try to find discounted gift card to buy it then

I once had an amount incorrectly calculated.
They fixed it once i spotted it, provided the correct calcs and went through the process.
Two issues, one they didn't seem to care about the incorrect calc, no apology, just appeared to be normal business.
Second, this should be one area that trust is foremost, coupled with a friction free experience, often it's just hard work.
For example, click the shopback browser button and the screen refreshes, having to find the product again. The list goes on.
I really am at odds at seeing how shopback adds value, rather than just being an inconvenient middle man.
Would much prefer merchants offer direct discounts.

Pass….had the 27/11/2020 12% across all categories. Shopback transaction didn't get tracked even though click history shows within that one hour. Allowed 4 days allowance they request for reconcilation. Submitted a missing cashback request late last week and haven't had response yet.
