So I bought the ultraboost hype … But can't help but feel I'm missing something.
Followed the Adidas size guide, measured my feet etc and got size 10 US.
Bought it, super uncomfortably tight.
Feels like putting a tight sock on almost.
After foot is in, whole foot feels like me trying to squeeze into clothes from 10 years ago.
Especially around the ankles have to really use a bit of force to get the shoe on.
Tried again and got an 11.5. Not AS bad but still tight.
Not comfortable at all.
Where's the cloud for my feet I was promised?
Reddit search says they loosen over time.
But I'm unsure how much looser … And weather I should go up to a 12.5 (my feet are normally size 10) … hard to guess a size to buy.
Am I missing something here?
I am coming from some ASICS gel something or others (kayanos maybe? not sure) which slipped on and slipped off easily. In addition, the ASICS gave the instant (as soon as you put the foot on) "aaaah" feeling of comfort.
I notice the ultraboost doesn't have the ability to slide on or off easily, as the top of the shoe (the hole where you put your foot in) is one piece.
Takes a few wears to break in and get more comfortable, I buy the same size as all my other shoes. Tight at first but they get better, with NMD's you just want them off by the end of the day as your foot starts to swell. Ultraboost and NMD comfort is waaaay overhyped, they aren't that wonderful. Skechers are the most comfortable shoes but a shame they are pretty average in the style department.
