Would really like to know more about the Hyundai i30 diesel cars.
I'm looking very keenly at 2008 SX CRDI 1.6L they seem to very economical and reliable and low costs to service?
Would love to know more from actual people who owned this car.

I own a 2018 model since new. It has been reliable and more economical over time. $300 annual service for first 10 years. However I'm not actual owner of a 2008 model, so probably not relevant to you.
What do you think after test driving the car?
Been doing lots of reading, seems like the i30 is one of the best models in its class?
I own a petrol 2008 SR. It’s reliable, no idea about diesel
Next month… Kia or Toyota?
How many ks on the car you want to purchase? How many ks do you do a year?
Diesels can cost a lot more to fix if something goes wrong, especially as you are looking at an almost 13 year old car I'd say you want to consider if the better economy is worth the higher purchase price.
Pretty sure it has a dpf, look up the cost to repair that if you want to scare yourself.
