Used to be when on special
Hasn't been this price since the pandemic occurred. They sit around the $20+ mark now.
weren't the $8 on special 5kg only?
@HunterBargainHunter: Not sure on the 5kg, but i know with the 10kg I used to pick them up for $14-15 a bag before the pandemic.
Once the Pandemic hit they have always been sitting at $20-25 depending on the store.
I got the 3 x bags as i eat a lot of rice.
$18.33 a bag :(
I miss this stuff but won't pay that much for it.
I read somewhere that it was a fairly average growing season in NSW for rice, combined with less specials thanks to Covid-19 this could also be part of the reason for pricing?
Anyone knows where to buy the Sunrise sushi rice in bulk?

Bring your own trailer
Like how much bulk do you need?
30-40kg?
$56 for 20kg bag, Sunrice sushi rice, available in most Asian supermarket. Which city are you in? If you in Sydney I can point you the stores.
@[Deactivated]: Hi Jake, I am in brisbane
@Yaren24: In that case, just try Korean grocery store they should have it. Korean like Japanese tends to prefer short grain more over long grain. Pick the biggest store you can find they will have plenty of stocks. It could be cheaper in your city.
Crikey… wasn't I buying this for $10 a bag on special?
Yes but given the COVID tax this deal is nothing to sneeze at.
Dont know, you tell us.
Thanks. Ordered for pickup.
I’m waiting for 50% off
Medium grain is great for indecisive and commitment-averse folk.
I showed fatty liver. Doctor suggested me not to eat rice
Why aren't other varieties on sale? Eg. Jasmine or Brown?
No not Brown! … brown…brown…brown…brown…brown…
Jasmine rice has been on half price sale regularly in Colesworth in the past 6 months but not the medium as OP stated.
Coupon code PICKUP10 for orders over $100 (I think). I ordered 2x3pks = $110-$10 = $100 for 6 bags pickup.
They charged me $1.50 for paper bags which I do not request? is there a way to cancel this?
edit: oh ok there's options to cancel
Thanks for the coupon. I also ordered a few items here so total bill is a bit over $100
Unavailable in VIC.
Aren't these usually $12-$15 a bag?
