Looking at getting one just to use on walks/runs to avoid needing to take my phone. Other than Apple and Samsung, are there any other recommendations?

I was using the TicWatch LTE (Gen 1) since May, Decent battery and Smart LTE (turns on automatically when ur away from phone). you can activate Telstra Prepaid/postpaid standalone connection via esim(they don't support one number for this yet).
VOLTE for calls works great, I prefer using 3g over the watch to save battery life.
was able to take calls, texts and download podcasts on the GO.NOTE: I bought this watch when it was on sale for $360 (+ free tic pods). they go on sale once a month.
Mobvoi should be releasing their TicWatch Pro 3 GPS LTE varient soon. It's currently out in a couple countries in Europe I believe.
The TicWatch Pro 3 seems to be a fairly solid smartwatch, for me personally the battery life it has (for a WearOS) is a huge +
They do have an older LTE model too.
