    No catch, just subject to fair use policy & limited to physical disc limitations. If it's personal/business use that's OK - Full terms are on our website.

    It should be noted though that the Unlimited plan is only for our HDD server, we can't afford to offer unlimited storage on our SSD servers :)

      So, is my personal hundreds of TB collection of raw uncompressed 12K camera footage ok? There is no mention of a fair use policy in your terms, but there is mention of:

      • "Obble Hosting does not warrant that it backs-up any Account or User Content, and you agree to accept as a risk the loss of any and all of your User Content."
      • "Obble Hosting reserves the right to cease offering or providing any of the Services at any time, for any or no reason, and without prior notice."
      • "Obble Hosting expressly reserves the right to deny, cancel, terminate, suspend, lock, or modify access to (or control of) any Account or Services (including the right to cancel or transfer any domain name registration) for any reason"

      Considering nearly everyone that has ever offered unlimited storage had to stop offering it shortly after, why would this be any different?

        Appreciate the feedback on our terms & service. These will be reviewed in the coming week to more accurately reflect our unlimited plans.

        We haven't currently faced any abuse of these offerings, but appreciate you raising some concerns & potential flaws in our current unlimited plan. The terms of service will be rectified to suitably explain a 'fair-use policy'.

  Do you have any benchmarks (eg. using YABS: https://github.com/masonr/yet-another-bench-script) for your VPS hosting? Your regular prices are double the regular prices of another provider - yours is $20/m for 1 CPU, 2GB RAM and 35GB NVMe, the provider I usually use (Quantum Core) is only $10/m for 2GB RAM and 45GB NVMe. So I'm wondering if there's a major difference in performance or not.

    Sorry I must've misread this last night or perhaps it was edited later. The 'Basic' Plan is our beginner plan equivalent for VPS which is $20 for 2GB Ram discounted to $10 / Month.

    If you're only after 1GB RAM, let me know and I can create a custom plan for you at $5 / Month after discount :)

    We don't currently have any email only hosting, it's bundled in with the webhosting plans.

      Thanks for the fast reply!
      I'm looking at a basic portfolio style page, with not a lot of content - maybe 8-10 images. Would the regular web hosting be good enough for this or should I look at the SSD products?
      Also, the 5gb / 10gb storage space on the Starter plans - can that include email storage? I could just add the Obble pop/smtp credentials to an outlook account?

      Apologies if these are noob questions, I'm learning about all this as I research it..

        No worries for all the questions!

        The basic plan would be suitable for sure (Starter), however you will find much faster loading times on the SSD Starter plan instead. Entirely your call, about $10 a year more with faster loading - If loading isn't critical for you (It should still be of good speed on the HDD) then stick to the basic plan.

        The storage space includes email storage, correct. Yes you can also just add the SMTP details to outlook so you can access emails through Obble, using a Outlook client

            @axloz: If you are able to access the files directly or install a migration plugin then it should be fine to migrate across.

            Happy to help with migrations too on any annual plans, no additional charge.
