  The cheapest i see is $342 from DWI (inc Shipping from Honkers). I doubt you could match that locally, the prices i've seen have been mid $400s.

    That's a really good price for the XZ-1 - and although its originally HK (grey) stock, I think DWI ship from Aust because they have really fast shipping times (have bought from them before).

    Make sure you unselect all the optional extras when buying from DWI or you'll double your price!

    XZ-1 is meant to be great especially for indoor shots without flash because of the awesome lense. You should also check out the Canon s95 and its new replacement, the Canon s100 (a lot more expensive, but you might like it).     Consider how important zoom is for you - the XZ-1 will generally take better pictures, but I'm currently looking at the Canon SX40HS superzoom because after a couple of years with a DSLR I realised that I'm never going to be a decent photographer, and instead want a massive zoom that can be used to take photos of a duck's nuts from interstate.
