I'm wanting to buy something from Myers eBay store but they don't have the right size. The Myer store locally is showing its in stock and I'm just wondering if I will have any success buying it from eBay in the wrong size and exchanging it in store for the right one? (I have an eBay voucher to use).
I know some stores treat online vs in store very differently. Thanks.
eBay is just the front, the back end is still myer. You will receive a myer confirmation order and tax invoice.

I've returned an item in-store that was purchased via Myer eBay.
I suppose it depends on how Myer processes exchanges ie. as a return, including the $ value of the eBay voucher. Check the T&Cs of the voucher.

From memory, they refund what you actually paid on eBay (so listed price less voucher) as they have an iPad that's linked with the their online system (i returned some eBay Myer purchase late last year). Not sure about exchanges though. They may just refund and ask u to re-purchase it at the in-store price

I was going to say the same thing. I think you'll likely be able to just do an exchange without a receipt if they have it in your size. Probably don't mention you bought it on ebay.
If you want to be sneaky, you could order it from both places and then get a refund in store and tell them they sent you the wrong size (and return the one you received from ebay)

I doubt it, probably for the exact reason you described. Also eBay returns have to be processed through eBay. I doubt anyone at any particular Myer has access to the eBay account. I wonder though, why didn't you just call a store and ask.
