CO2 for aquariums brings back great memories.

That's not the right product, that converts the thread on a sodastream cylinder to a standard co2 thread.

Buy a keg and a tap and you won’t need a sodastream at all.
I have the Kegland hose and 2.6kg bottle. I'm still on the 1st bottle about 5 months in now. I used to go through a standard Sodastream tank every 4-6 weeks, more like 3-4 weeks during lockdown and WFH.
The 2.6kg bottle is OOS till Feb next year, sadly!
@dbglt: There's a few other suppliers of the gas cylinders, they should all be compatible.
Keg King are probably the biggest.
