Looking for < $1,100 Laptop mainly for Uni work and light gaming

Hello there,

I was previously using a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 14 2 in 1 with a Ryzen 3500u, but I am giving that away to family. I missed out on a sale for this years Lenovo Flex 5 Ryzen 4500u, 16gb Ram, so I am wondering for any other good laptops for mostly uni and light Valorant and Overwatch gaming (preferably below 1,000, and either Ryzen 5 or 11th gen i5)? I do not really need a laptop until the start of uni next march, so is there also any chance of up coming christmas or new years sales to drive the Flex 5's price down again?
