Fortnite Crew - buy overseas, use in Australia?

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the Fortnite Crew subscription through a VPN from an overseas store, and then use it on an Australian account?

Obviously looking to save a few bucks if it works out cheaper buying in a different currency.
