That phone looks like the visual representation of getting bullied.

    • haha shit i almost spat my coffee out

I can't believe people buy "gamer" phones.

The specs are great. So is the phone… As long as you get a case for it.

        • As long as you actually use the technology. Not a lot of content uses the high refresh screen or all the processing power.

Given it was around $900 not that long ago, great price.

  • Any deals on the pro?

    • The pro is a superb phone. Apart from not having NFC (and not quite flagship-quality cameras) it's pretty much perfect.

I think it might have been included in the recent JB Hifi 10 or 15% off promo, which took it down to around $1,500 which is the best price I've seen from an Australian retailer. Cheaper prices on ebay etc though, but I wanted Aust stock.

    • Here it is at Kogan for $1399

Minus the $20 bonus that's on offer at the moment, and minus 5% if you buy using the app, makes it just shy of $1300

I followed this devices reviews testing and teardowns from release; tldr; it's actually everything it promises.

With MAYBE an exception for speakers being a 'little quiet', its perfection if you're into glass slab phones.

  • As an FYI, appears to have been as low as $565 on 11/11 according to a review:

Exceptionally low price of £315 during the 11.11

  • Mi max 4 would be awesome. My max 3 is getting a little old now but still awesome.

The pro version is 7.1". Fark, is it the perfect upgrade for my mi max 3!?!?!

      • really, i didn't know that.

      • can't see it on aliexpress.
