Wait for he gold version at this price

    • The digital gold version is likely to hit below $30 again, but i dont think the physical will for a while.
      who knows though!

      • Useful site - is that in AU pricing? And can i create a Nintendo account to buy digital games without unboxing the kid's xmas pressie early?

        • if you've set it to the AU version, it should show AU pricing. Just click on the flag on the top right to change countries.

you can make an account via the eshop on your switch i believe. dekudeals is just a separate site to show the current sales + price history for each game.

if you're gonna purchase a game, it'll be added to your account and you can download it there, if thats what you mean?

          • @Mishchap: Thanks yeh that's what i meant, just hoping i could create a Nintendo account to buy the game without unboxing the switch and powering it on

@chriise: Unfortunately it doesn't work. I tried purchasing some Switch games with the Nintendo account I have with my 3DS and it comes up with an error saying that I need to link my Switch first :(

              • @Gingura: Then lets hope for some boxing day sales!!

What extra does the Gold version have?

      • -2

        Gold

      • +6

It's a Donkey Kong expansion that'll almost as long as the base game

    • +1

Definitely. The Donkey Kong expansion is amazing.

    • Is the Gold version physical, or just a download code in the box? Ie if I get second hand, will I still get the gold part

Excellent game, super underated but then I do love the xcom formula.

        • Stalker has a wife…

      • +4

Wife here. I'm the one that does most of the Amazon buying :|

      • I am one - I don't help (I'm an enabler)

This has been $29 for a while, got it 2 weeks ago for that price. My son loves it!

  • For anyone who is actually interested in buying the dlc for this game, the gold edition is actually 20usd (27 aud) right now on the American eshop store for another day. All you have to do is create a US nintendo account, link a PayPal and buy it. Basically you'd be saving 70 bucks as its usually priced at around 90 bucks in the Australian eshop.

Picked up a copy at big w epping. Another game for the kids when they unwrap the switch at xmas. Thanks OP

  • Play…this…game!!

  • Is this multiplayer games?

  • how does this compare to mario party?

    • Different gameplay. Mario party is bunch of mini games putting together, this is more tactical RPG. And rather than earning experience, you earn gold to upgrade weapons. I’m not gonna put out anymore spoiler, at $29 this is well worth it.

  • Highly recommend this game, especially if you've played XCOM or turn-based strategy games. The added bonus is screaming rabbids.

  • I was expecting a lower price when I saw that this was posted. It was this price all weekend. Waiting for it to be $15 on the eshop again.

  • I paid the same from Big W a few months ago. Good game, great humour through out. But then I saw a preowned Gold edition for the same price at EBgames which I wish I had bought because dlc will cost you extra in Nintendo eshop.

    • +1

You better off buy a new one. Unfortunately the dlc included in the gold version is a download code. If the previous owner claimed it then you wouldn’t have access to it anyways

  • Used this new price as a bargaining chip to get a used copy for $15 LOL
