Vegetable oils and trans-fats, which include soybean, canola, corn, and cottonseed oils, as well as hydrogenated and partially-hydrogenated oils, undergo extensive heat and chemical processing. By the end of that process, they are oxidized (damaged) and cause inflammation to all the tissues in our bodies, including our eyes.

Took 5 mins of googling..
Appreciate it mate. Thanks for your time and response. Time for me to switch from canola.
@umansPrimitiveNature: No probs, my mum suffers Glaucoma, hence me knowing about the Canola thing, her specialist advised her to avoid it..
I only use E/V Olive Oil for salads etc & Rice Bran oil for cooking - Has the lowest 'Smoke point' produced by high heating, compared to other oils. Have a quick read here compares Rice Bran to Olive oil..
Airfryers are putting cooking oils out of business .
2L canola oil $3.99 every day at Aldi.
Is there a difference in quality between canola oils?
Yeah, it seems there is. I've used the Aldi one and it leaves a bit of grease when the warmth goes away. Doesn't happen with something like Goldn'Canola.
Sounds like Gold'n Canola is getting absorbed more into the food, whereas the Aldi one isn't. I'd suppose that's a good thing, right?
It's $6 now.
Crisco Oil has a "Non-GMO" mark, other brand oil doesn't
I believe I just picked some up from Woolworths and it was 4L for $8, but if you’re too lazy to go out.. this works.
EDIT: this is brand one.. so I subscribed because I always forget, thanks
