do you do the conversion through your credit card?
Being a bargain nut, I don't buy anything from overseas without my 28 degrees Mastercard, best international card ever and it meets my bargain nut price of free!
As for how to get refund, Amazon is known to provide refunds for stuff you just bought from them and it falls in price in say a week or two. To keep you happy if you ask they tend to refund you the difference.
Happened to me a few times, just email their contact returns area and they even give you difference back straight to credit card instead of say store credit.
Its almost mandatory for ozbargain membership, to have a 28 degrees card for os purchases, but suggest you change the title as it can be a misleading for those who have yet to see the "light".
Maybe in text you can advise how to save the extra 2.86 that david indicates.

Yeah I got my 28 degree back when it first came out as a Wizard card, traveling overseas with it for few years now its brillaint, cause you can put AUD cash on it and use at ATM, get charged only FX best rate of the day.

Be that as it may, the card has no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees. So it's a winner in my book.
Good price, what do people think are the chances of receiving it before Christmas though (3 weeks is usually do-able, but don't know with Amazon)…
i've received amazon uk goods in just over a week from ordering…. they can be very quick. but xmas post delays (and amazon probably being very busy atm) you'll be pushing it. maybe a 'backup' local present just in case? ;)
Check who it is sent my. If it's "Royal Mail" then you'll get it in about 10 days (maybe longer then closer you get to Christmas). If its sent from Germany is when you get the problem.
I ordered "The Pacific / Band Of Brothers - Limited Edition Gift Set (HBO) [Blu-ray][Region Free]" on the 16th of November and got delivered 7 days later, just ordered "Harry Potter complete 8 film (blu-ray)", cross fingers it takes another 7 days. Do Amazon UK work on the weekend??

Unfortunately we don't make any refunds for a price difference of only 2 GBP but would refund if its 10 GBP or higher.

I posted the previous deal on this item, and also took advantage of it myself, and I feel kind of bad about it now, both because others purchased because of my post and didn't get the best deal, and also because I didn't get the best deal either.
But I guess that's one of the perils of bargain hunting - there might always be a better deal just around the corner.
And even though it's only a £2.48 difference (plus any exchange rate differences), it still gnaws at me. I fully thank OzB for making me this way :)

You may be right. It was definitely sent out via Royal Post, and it did say on the checkout page that the item would arrive before Christmas. I've actually just received an order (a Sunday delivery!) that was dispatched on the 27th (also via Royal Post), and the Star Wars box set was dispatched on the 28th, so it could be here as soon as tomorrow!
