Storage for cheap

I'm looking for cheap storage for a couple to a few months, something like a 2.5x2.5 sf storage unit.

It needs to be safe and near the Inner West…

Kennards is quoting $220/month - is there anything cheaper or anyway to get Kennards to reduce their price?

I've got a couple of storage units in diff cities, both with Kennards…simply coz they were the cheapest i could find, and they're one (if not the only) large storage company who actually publish their rates online. I got a couple of phone quotes from other company's, and they were higher. I don't think there's much bargaining to be had with inner city Storage. It's expensive, so u probably gotta take yr medicine. Out in the boondocks is a diff story!

Only other option that springs to mind is checking Gumtree, people offer up their own garages for storage etc.. but of course with the savings, comes the extra risk!
