I've been using liquid hand sanitiser for a few months and prefer it over gel - it's less sticky, leaves no residue and doesn't smell as bad.
I bought a bottle from a brewer during the height of COVID shortages but I'm just about out. Most places either seem to sell gel or massive jugs of liquid, which will likely expire before I use it.
Does anyone know where to buy reasonable quantities (around 1L) of the ethanol liquid?

Methylated spirits 1L $4 at Bunnings
Aloe Vera Gel 100ml $4 Woolworths (it used to be in orange tube now it’s turquoise colour)
Few drops of any essential oil like eucalyptus
The metho is 96% ethanol so do a mix of 70:30 metho to aloe vera.

Scotts from your closest Chemist Warehouse or supermarket is pretty liquidy with no sticky feel but stinks. YMMV.

Buy the digger iso spray bottle and then whenever it's empty buy iso alchy in 5l on eBay. That will last a long time as a hand spray. Pure as.
As long as you mix it down to a concentration of ~ 70%-75%. Higher concentrations won't work anywhere near as well, as they act too fast (reacts too quickly to the outer layers of the organism, allowing it in-effect to seal itself in), allowing some organism to survive.
At the recommended concentration the reaction is slowed, allowing the Ethanol to permeate the entire organism (before it's had a chance to react and protect itself) killing it.
