Citibank App - rooted/jailbroken users can you still access the app with the latest update via Playstore?

With the most recent update and an update Magisk to v21.0, i still can't
All my other banking apps are working fine.
Have Magiskhide enabled

    Still working for me, assuming it is the same update I got from the playstore 2 days ago.

    Did you check if your phone is passing google's safetynet?

      Hey, I just checked the safetynet check from Magisk and it passed it. What version of Magisk are you using? Any particular settings you have enabled?

    I'm using Magisk Canary with the magisk manager being hidden and the usual magiskhide module hiding all the bank apps.

      Thanks. I have the same settings enabled except I'm on a stable Magisk Manager channel. Do you have the custom URL for canary?

    I don't think canary has a custom URL, you have to install Magisk Manager Canary to access it.

      Thanks I found a version and was about to flash it. Uninstalled Magisk and the app works and so do all my banking apps without it being there.

    So you just uninstalled the Magisk Manager app? It seems like you didn't hide the actual Magisk Manager from being detected. There's an option in the settings of the Magisk Manager app to hide it from other apps.

    Scroll down to 'Hiding the Magisk Manager' section, give it a read and follow it, then try the Citibank app on your phone again.

    Hopefully, that solves your issue with the Citibank app.

      Thanks. I tried that and it didn't work. I'm running Android 7 on my phone only so that may also be an issue as I think full obscurification requires Android 9 and above.

        i have Android 10 with latest Magisk,
        and i still cannot load Citibank app.

        i will get a new phone soon,
        so i will try Magisk there with Citi app, to see how it goes.

    bumping this post.
    App was working fine until latest update version 15.1.4. anyone else having issues?
    whenever i open the app, just shows the blue screen and the citi logo and sits there forever. cannot log into it.

        looks like they improved their root detection on the app :( uninstall magisk fixes it

          Thanks, had to do that same thing on my last custom OS. Just upgraded custom OS's and can't be bothered to remove Magisk for one app. I just saved the login page to my browser and will use that from now on.

      Idk if you had any success but I finally got it working so I thought I'd post it here

      I already had magisk manager hidden with a different package name and also had Magiskhide Props Config installed

      Install Riru Unshare (in Magisk - must already have riru core which is in the magisk modules repo)

      Reboot

      Then hide the main process of citibank in magisk hide

      Install Airfrozen

      Freeze the magisk manager app in airfrozen
      Then open Citibank wait a bit and you should be good.

      Each time you wanna open the citibank app you have to freeze the magisk manager app

    I don't even have rooted/jailbroken phone and it's saying i've got one and won't let me in.

        Do you guys have developer settings enabled on Android?

        Amongst all the 1 star reviews, some people have claimed this is the reason why their otherwise stock device has issues.
