  but it's something like 85% android fans vs 15% apple in there, it ain't pretty.

  having said that, i'm looking to buy a tablet before feb of next year, maybe ill pick up a cheap tab !?

    We have courts and they are doing all they can there. Are you suggesting a few well placed mines in Seoul/Sydney shipping lanes??

    If you are suggesting they also sue other manufacturers, then you need to understand how things work. You sue one, win/lose that case, its then a precedent that is used to sue (or not) others.

    To sue 10 at once is BIG costs and it also ties up the courts etc.

    As distinct from a newspaper, courts take time to consider all the information, before making up their minds vs a journalist who has 5 minutes….

    what i mean is apple marketing team are a looser.
    they are not confident that they are able to compete with samsung in marketing strategy.

      well its not the marketing team that decides to sue, its usually a company's board based on the company's legal team recommendations.

      And if Samsung or other are infringing on someone patent, then shouldn't they sue. Likewise Samsung has the right to sue back if their patents are infringed. Again the courts decide this not us or some journalist who doesnt have all the relevant details.

      Now whether we like Apple or Not, they have a right and the court will decide, they obviously have some case, otherwise it would have been thrown out earlier.

      Until then I'd reserve judgment on whether or not they have done the right thing.

  planning to buy one using their gift card bonus offer.

  Or is it better to buy iPad 2?

    not too clear myself, but pretty much it feels like your question is identical to asking "should i get a galaxy s2 or i4s ?"

    i feel it's pretty much the same pro/cons and depends on what you're looking for.

  Motorola Wins Europe-Wide Sales Ban Against iOS Devices

  Granted, Motorola has not paid the bond required for the injunction to be enforced, but it will be interesting to see how the appeal plays out, even if Apple decides in the end to pay the licensing fees to Motorola in the case that their appeal fails.
