Mobile Sim Change of Ownership

Hi all

Does anyone have any experience with changing the ownership of a service to another person?
I have a spare sim with a good number currently on Amaysim which I want to transfer to a family member.

Amaysim want to charge $20 for the privilege of changing the account holder, so I was wondering if there are any other cheap alternatives which may be free with a starter sim, such as Telstra, etc.

    Port out to other provider, do change of ownership?

    When I had to transfer ownership of an Optus Postpaid service it was very easy, I would assume it would be a similar process for prepaid services.

    If family member doesn't mind your name being on the invoices/receipts, just change the email address. Change of ownership used to be free pre Optus takeover.
