Android with 850MHZ UMTS

Looking to find a decent handset at a good price to use on Next G. I keep missing out on the Galaxy S2 for $500, is there any other recommendations I could consider?

I currently use a HTC Legend, and I'm very happy with it, but since I'm paying through the nose to be on Telstra, I might aswell get a handset that will give me full coverage.

    dont kogan still have the SGII for 500?

      If so, they have gift vouchers on sale (valid from 25 Dec 2011) at the moment. $300 voucher for $225.

      SGS2 will be a nice jump in performance from a Legend (although it'll be quite a bit bigger)

      Nah, i wish it was $500. It's 518 + postage. I'm in no hurry, so figure I can wait till it becomes 499 again.

      I don't understand about the gift vouchers. Kogan has gift vouchers?
