Different products. I have both and I personally prefer the Buds Live as they are simply more comfy to me (I hate things in my ear). The sounds on the Buds + is better simply because it goes further in your ear and seals the ear canal and therefore you get more bass and better sounds really. Comfort wins for me though
these are really good for outdoor exercising and for places that need your hearing to remain unhampered. if you roa run or cycles these are great for having music but still be traffic aware, and they’re small enough they don’t get in the way of helmet straps like airpod style tws earphones can
Buds Live have ANC whereas Buds Plus don't
Buds Plus have a good seal, giving it a good amount of noise cancellation
Yeah, but Buds plus don't need noise cancelling as it plugs your ear, and although the buds Live had ANC it's widely ridiculed and mocked for hardly doing anything at all to reduce background noise
These are good if you like flicking the bean
Bette then sticking baked beans in your ears.
Live is better sound if you're doing nothing and they stay fitted. Plus are better for running because they stay fitted and they sound better than a pair of Live that have moved out of your ear a little.
Also Live are really annoying to readjust without pausing your music or activating voice control. Plus are easy to grip the sides of the earpiece and twist into your ear more.
If I bought only one, as an active person, I would get the Plus without a doubt.
Matching kogans price.
Sold by Tech Warehouse on Kogan
But still can be combined with Cashback to get it for $159
I copped a version of the Mystic Blues from Tech Warehouse a fortnight ago. As others have mentioned, not the best sound, but they fit very snug in your ear, ANC isn’t the best but good enough for me to grab another for the partner for Christmas. I love the blue as well ($209 from Kogan).
As above, combined with $30 cash back with Commbank and $20 for signing up to Daily Telegraph at the cost of $4. Copped for $143 from Kogan.
Who else sees 'kidney trays' every time a photo of these pops up?
Me! Only if they were greenish colour
Gotta appeal to that Chinese organ trader demographic you know…
:P
RRP $319! Really!
pretty cheap for 2x kidneys tbh…
These are great headphones for day to day use. To make it clear, the actual sound for these are great, but if you want sound isolation tech - it's very poor. If that doesnt matter to you, go for it! (I've had mine for about a month now)
What if you wore sound isolating earmuffs over them.
would be perfect. These don't extrude from your ears at all.

Thanks for the post, I’ve been looking for something that’s comfortable for audiobooks. Hate having things shoved inside my ear so hopefully these will be good enough for that.
I have Jabra Elite 75t and Samsung Galaxy Buds Live. Buds live are surprisingly comfortable and sit pretty well. My goto earbuds now :-)
Gone up to $229 now
When I see the shape, I feel pain.
I have been using these for couple of months. Here are pros and cons in my opinion
Pros:
* Surprisingly fits in the ear comfortably and quite secure even when jogging.
* The audio is loud enough to compensate for the lack of seal
* Good battery life
* If not using ANC they have pressure release feature, so less pain for the ears.Cons:
* The touch controls are so laggy. There is at least a couple of seconds delay between the touch and response. Also they don't always register touch.
* The ANC isn't that great. You will hardly notice any difference on the public transport.Anyone looking for additional advice:
ANC works very well at cutting out low end sounds like the hum from the train against rails or the rumble on a plane. Not great at everything else though, but it's not really meant to be considering they're sort of an open ear design (hence live). If it's hurting your ears, which it really did for me at first, make sure you look up a video on how to wear them properly and your ears will get the gist of it.
Available again
Honestly noise cancelation is bad, it doesn't feel like a finished product. Better pay extra and go with Huawei freebuds pro.
Yes but those earphones are a national security risk. You'll get deported by the Libs.
Yeah yeah we all know it's a political game.
It's not meant to cancel out everything

I don't know how often most Ozbargainers can afford to update their earbuds. More often than me probably. Personally I might wait for something built with https://www.qualcomm.com/news/onq/2020/12/16/next-era-truly-…. It should be more feature-rich dollar-for-dollar than today's models and most importantly for me will support LE Audio (which I've been waiting for forever). Nice deal though if you want something right now.
I have galaxy buds gen 1 and airpods gen 2 sitting on my desk untouched for weeks, been using wired ear phones that came in box mostly. Still I want to buy this… May be I need help
Can someone confirm if its aus stock?
This better than the plus?
