Not sure why there is a subscribe and save option on fish tank air pumps!

  • My experience with Tetra in the past is that they are noisy and get even noisier with time.

Eheim is worth the extra money.

    • I'm also using a Tetra Whisper (albeit the 100L version) and agree that it is still much louder than I was expecting/hoping for based on the online reviews. Even returned it to Petbarn and exchanged for another which was exactly the same. The noise was not coming from vibrating against any surfaces but from the body itself, which I opened up and checked the rubber diaphragm was not damaged in any way, so just looks like it's part of the design.

EDIT: still better than the Aquaone it replaced and this is also a good deal for it.

    • I've been running a Tetra Whisper 60 on a smaller tank for a couple of years and am pretty happy with the noise level considering the pump has to sit exposed in the open.

  • Pet circle have 30% off these - likely price matching

    • Pet Circle will find 1 million reasons not to price match.

I have never had a good experience with them.

  • Does it pump cucumbers? Asking for a friend

  • You would be far better off getting something like this for $35: http://www.aquariumonlinesupplies.com.au/popular-brands/hail…
Buy a slightly better item once, and don't worry about if for 5-8 years.
