    • Sounds good 30 to 90 days shipping wrap it up I'll take it

Hello, our product is USB 3.1 Gen 2, supports 4K video transmission. Not an USB 2.0 cable.

      • Any sign of a 5mt length, official oculus link cable is a bit of a rip at $120

        • Cables longer than 3m breach USB-IF standards which may be why they're not common. You could use a female-female USB C coupler to join two cables, though that also breaches the standards.

      • Oops, didn't realise they're only 2.0.

Be careful with these cables. I have the 3m USB 3.1 Gen 2 version and it doesn't actually appear to have an e-mark chip inside. I have a few adapters that specifically don't work with e-marked cables, yet they work with the Fasgear cable for some reason. I haven't come across another 100w USB C cable that works with these adapters.

Otherwise they're fantastic quality and probably the sturdiest cable I've ever seen. I just don't trust the internal wiring.

    • What's the benefit of emarker chip ?

It's required for charging currents above 3A and/or transmission speeds above 480Mbps.

  • Anyone know if this will work for connecting a laptop to a USB-C capable monitor?

E.g. for connecting a MacBook Pro to a Dell U2720Q, with video and power running over the same cable.

    • Those are all USB 2.0 cables. Also the cables in the OP are thicker and have a much nicer connector. The Ugreen cables are comparable (and are likely from the same OEM) as the cables in this deal.

  • 3m is very short for VR. I had to purchase the 2m extension

  • I brought a 3m of this cable last time for $12.79 (maybe was a price error dunno).
However I can confirm its a good cable.. I use it to charge my macbook pro 2020 with a 30w PD wall adapter.
Super good as its a long cable!

  • Virtual desktop all the way! Works way better than these cables!

    • slightly broken at the moment though after the VD update
