Really happy with my cloud flight S's - really great for multi platform, im constantly yanking it from my pc to ps4, to nvidia shield for movies. Works amazing! Battery is great too

  • Might note both are via Amazon UK.

I have the HyperX Cloud Stinger Core Wireless 7.1 (I use it on the Switch and PC) with 7.1 activated on PC ($101 on amazon)
HyperX makes genuinely great headsets with clear mics and long batteries.
I prefer the HyperX mic over the ones in the logitech/steelseries and jabra that I don't use anymore.

The only downside I can think of is the ngenuity software. It's truly lacklustre compared to the Logitech platform - but it serves a basic purpose for simple controls.

I assume the flight is equally good?

    • How do you use the wireless with switch? USB into the dock?

      • yes that's right - The usb receiver is plugged into the dock and it works automatically

    • Thanks for the feedback. I assume you mean the mic is good while using it wirelessly though, right?

      • thats right, it sounds clear using wireless

    how comfortable are these?

    • I've had my Flight S for about 3 months with constant everyday use, like 8+ hours a day. I never really feel any pain on my head but it does get quite sweaty on a hot day. All in all, I highly recommend it if you have the budget for it. I had the Flight prior to the S and found the sound quite tinny whereas the S sounds a lot more balanced and full.

How do these compare to the Arctis 7?

  • Maybe it'll come down further during the Black Friday sales…?
