Seeking Advice on a New Laptop for Mum (Budget $1000)

Mum surprised me by agreeing to upgrade her computer to a laptop today. She is in her 80's.

She will use it for playing games, emails, watching videos (from DVD and on Facebook), Zoom linkups etc and my siblings will use it for creating PowerPoint displays, Word documents etc for mum and her support workers.

Preferably:
* 15" screen size or above (less is too difficult for her to see clearly)
* Touchpad with buttons (much easier with arthritis)
* DVD drive or capacity to connect to one so she
* i5
* Bdget under $1K
* Black friday bargain - she just loves a bargain too, that's where I inherited it, lol!

A Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Notebook 15.6" Core i5/8/256 GB was suggested but she found the touchpad difficult with her arthritis and has requested that it have buttons for her to click with.

Any ideas or suggestions gratefully appreciated.
