Rant starts
I signed up Deliveroo Plus, placed an order and still got charged for delivery from the local Red Rooster. Spent an hour slowly waiting for replies on their live chat and finally got back a response that they won't refund me.
What use is paying for this service if we still get charged a delivery fee?
1) Minimum spend $45
2) Not all restaurants are included (free delivery from hundreds of our partner restaurants)
Are you suggesting that op should actually read the terms and conditions of something they signed up for!?

Lot of stores using third parties now as they worked out it’s cheaper than maintaining the car etc.

Did you meet the requirement of spending $45 or more for FREE delivery when using https://deliveroo.com.au/plus though?
Was your Red Rooster store part of the free delivery network?
Ok guess I misread it as being free delivery, my fault but wtf $45 and they have to been on the free network for $8 a month.

Menulog always has free delivery at red rooster.
What were you expecting the delivery drivers to be paid with?
