Anyone know if you can get matches in hardcore, any mode, on Xbox black ops 2? Don't want to renew gold if it's not worth it. Haven't played this in a long time and have a hankering for a game.

Yea not worth renewing. After I posted a hacker came online and ruined the Core Team Deathmatch lobby.
From what I see COD Black Ops 2 hardcore mode on Xbox doesn't really have any players anymore. I tried a few months back and jumped on again tonight. Tried all map packs and no map packs. After a while I got into an overseas game without map packs, but the lag was terrible.
There were a small number of people playing Core Team Deathmatch with no map packs, so I played for a while (no hackers tonight). But even on Core finding games will likely be difficult.
