Kogan Mobile Prepaid Voucher Code: LARGE (90 Days | 20GB Per 30 Days) - Port Over Offer - Can I use new number?

I purchased this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/572992 (or similar as mine was $14.90).

I thought it was for only porting over from an existing number, but when I go to the activation link, it gives me the option of Use a new number (on starter pack).

Question is, can I use the new number that came with the kogan SIM starter pack or do I have to port from an existing number to access the deal?

I don't want to proceed with the initial activation page, selecting new number, in case I stuff it up.

  • If a new number is not eligible, after you enter voucher, it'll say "Invalid Voucher". You can try ,though.

    • thanks I did try this but I get "invalid voucher" whether choosing a new number or porting an existing, so I don't know what to do now.

      • You must port in an existing number that has not been with Kogan for the last 31 days, in order to use the voucher.

        • I'm porting an Aldi number that has been with me for more than that. I've never been with Kogan before

                  • @OldBugger: Did you get your Voucher fixed? Mine is doing the same thing and finding it impossible to get help from Kogan.

                  • @rzg: I had to call them in the end. The email contact system was hopeless

                    • @OldBugger: They told me the voucher is invalid and they have to refund me, if I want to sign up I’d need to reorder ☹️

                            • @OldBugger: Yes have to reorder from their website as a new sign up again and if the offer I got isn’t available too bad to sad.. not sure if I should sign back up or wait until tomorrow to see what carriers are offering for Black Friday

                                • @OldBugger: Different voucher number starts with 1603.. (10 digits long). I’ll try and ring them again now hopefully I get someone helpful!

                                • @OldBugger: Just spoke with them again, was advised there is nothing they can do I bought it from Kogan.com and they are Kogan Mobile that it’s not their problem. Yikes pretty bad service bit of a shame.
