  Can someone explain me how is Latitude pay or Afterpay etc? What is the ‘catch’? What is their profit model? I kinda guess they make money via transit/interest, but given the record cash rate would they survive?

    a) They charge the business/seller a fee.
    b) late fees/missed payment fees for customer/buyer

    They charge a fee whenever a customer pays via their service (fee is paid by the store). There’s also the late fees if the customer fails to make repayments. I think the former is their main source of income

      Penalty few were 25% of their income in 2018 I think, seen a few reports lately of a lot of people getting into credit troubles with so many pay later schemes around and all so accessible
