Phonebot and Perfect Preowned - Are They The Same Business?

Hi OzBargain folks,

Do you know if these guys are the same people under different business names? I am asking because I am aware that Phonebot rep is somewhat active here on OzBargain, and would like to contact them.

I bought a grade-A refurbished Pixel 3 recently from Perfect Preowned and apart from the rear camera seeming to be not working properly, they also failed to ship a wall charger which is mentioned in the product ad on Catch: https://www.catch.com.au/product/google-pixel-3-64gb-just-bl…

In the ad it says "Sold and delivered by Perfect Preowned" but, also, in the product description it says "Every Smartphone we sell at Phonebot has been thoroughly tested". I have sent Perfect Preowned a message via Catch; am awaiting response from them. What is also suspicious is that Phone is selling the same phone (same refurb grade) as a separate listing on Catch for $25 more (you could refer to the same page listed above, under "More buying options").

I was under the impression that I bought the phone from Phonebot and I took the risk to buy a refurbished phone, given that I felt Phonebot is part of the OzBargain community and I can trust them. Having re-read the product page now, I am confused who I have bought the phone from. I would like to clarify this for myself and everyone, so we can all watch out for each other, including if another business is impersonating Phonebot out there, then I would like to notify Phonebot and potentially Consumer Affairs.

I will be more careful as well next time.
