Lockdown is being cancelled because the guy who said he ordered a pizza from the place actually had worked shifts there in the days prior. He probably the most hated man in South Australia right now, he directly cost business owners many thousands in losses and missed sales this week. And caused everyone to be stuck at home. And he risked spreading the virus which could have killed thousands unchecked.

    • Yeah, that's why I wrote "maybe a little late now" :p

The email from Caltex came 10 minutes after the press conference finished, which announced lockdown is being reverted to just the previous restrictions as of tomorrow night 1159pm.

    • The worst part is the muppet won't get any sort of penalty

Government statements about his lies are like handing out metaphorical sacks of doorknobs to the community, so I think he will get some kind of punishment. For sure the staff of the pizza place know who he is.

        • Haha I just saw they’ve already stationed police outside of the pizza place

    • he directly cost business owners many thousands in losses and missed sales this week.

A Local butcher sold 10 times the amount of meat usually sold on a Wednesday.

A bottle shop who usually makes $3 on a Wednesday, made $35k up to 6pm.

Lucky for them, customers are not entitled to change of mind returns.

      • Hundreds of bakeries alone will have needed to throw out days worth of stock and prep. Woolworths does good business, bottle shops too are fine their stock wouldn't go stale anyway. The butcher would be closed for the six days. Bookstores lose out on six day trading. Thousands of cafes throwing out thousands of bottles of milk.

lose out on six day trading

          3 days trading.

Thousands of cafes throwing out thousands of bottles of milk.

Do cafes open all their milk and does milk only last 3 days?

  • This person would be crapping himself now if he was made known

  • Hahaha all these people that fled to Sydney to escape SA's lockdown must be pissed.
