The wine details:
Story: They say that a parent doesn’t have a favourite child, but Cabernet Sauvignon has always secretly been one of ours!

Vintage: The 2019 growing season started with mild weather and below average rainfall. Some late spring rain provided a bit of relief from the dry conditions. A heatwave in January was luckily too early in the ripening cycle to cause any damage to the fruit. This was followed by a very mild and dry finish to the vintage, allowing good hang time and flavour development to the smaller than average crop.

Nose: The nose displays beautifully complex notes of plums, blackberries and a hint of cassis.

Palate: The palate is smooth and well-rounded with plenty of blackberries and plums, complemented by well-integrated tannins.

Food Pairings: This is the perfect wine for a lamb on the spit or any other meaty main course!

Alc: 13.5%

    Can you drop any hints if there's plans for the Pertaringa Lakeside Shiraz to be featured in any deals before Christmas rolls around? It was my pick of the bunch when I bought a 12pk a few weeks ago.

      Hi @truthnuke. Good question. In short, the Lakeside Shiraz had sold out so there's been a new bottling. We bottled at the same time the Bec Hardy SA Shiraz 2019 under screwcap. We've, therefore, replaced the Lakeside Shiraz (cork) with Bec Hardy Shiraz (screwcap) in the www.wineshedsale.com.au going forward. Same wine, different label and screwcap instead of cork. Hope that help. The pricing as it is now, won't get better than what it is and if you use the OZBARGAIN code it will give you free shipping on it. Cheers! RD :-)

    Thanks for the deal Richard. Shipping is now superfast - only ordered Monday and delivered today. 18 mixed bottles got us through lockdown and now 12 more of the Cab Sv should tie us over to xmas
