Cheap Fossil Battery Replacement (Melbourne)

oh wow thats awesome. my watch is almost 3 years old, when i bought it i was told that they offer a 1 time free battery replacement anytime within 2 years of the warranty
The link from Xistn says they do it for lifetime. So just call in and book your replacement, should be free. My watch was 7 years old when I got the battery replaced.
Hmmm, I called them up and they are charging $25 for it. Still a fair price I guess.
@theebargainer: That's outrageous. Suspect it's a pandemic related change? Try other stores across Melbourne, there are stores in Highpoint and Chadstone. Maybe others too.
@soan papdi: Really odd. Called up Chadstone and they are charging $20 for it lmao
Do you know if this applies to other Fossil shops? I tried at Moorabbin DFO but they wanted $75 to replace the battery 💩
Rip off. All I recall is the Melbourne Central store telling me it's free for life. Maybe call the Fossil company and see what they say. It can't be company policy if each store charges whatever they want
eBay search & DIY ( save u $ ).if u have to pay.
Don't use cheap Chinese batteries in something like a watch. You might save $5 if you were lucky.
From eBay u can find some made in Japan or others instead of from china.
DIY easy.
The Fossil showroom in Melbourne Central replaced my watch battery for free. Call them and have a check first. I was told they do this for the life of the watch.
