What api call?
a call to API interface

@hornoscous: Computer programs/apps can communicate and work together via APIs. They make "API calls" to exchange information. Similar to phone calls, but in a computer way :)
Apparently data was available via such API from Epic (as opposed to eg. a website or email), so somebody read it there making an API call in some way, eg. via an app they wrote, and that's where the news came from.
@bouncybear: So OP made a program to communicate with EPIC website via API call?

This is awesome. They really continue to give away awesome games.
Elite Dangerous now, which I'm very much looking forward to playing in VR, and then MudRunners… a game I've looked at, thought looked amazing to play with, but didn't think I'd stick with enough to warrant a purchase. Problem solved!
Shame that Wargame RD was promised and then the agreement vanished. It looks solid and I'm keen as a bean to play it. Now I know there's a possibility it'll become free I can't bring myself to buy it.
