"The Incredible Moving Straps
Move large objects with comfort and ease!
Avoid damage and don’t ruin your house or risk your bond on your rental! With the Incredible Moving Straps you can relocate furniture, appliances and other large items without causing damage to your home or office. Hand trolleys beat up stairs leaving scratches, scuffs and dents. Dollies can scratch floors and get stuck in doorways. But the Moving Straps make it easy to lift heavy and awkward objects up over doorsills and up and down stairs with ease. Besides being easy to use, they also encourage proper lifting techniques, and because of the way you get better leverage, they make everything you lift seem up to 66% lighter!"

Does it really work?
Thanks,
vanessa

  • Wow I've never heard of these..but I'm moving in a few weeks so these would be quite handy if they worked.

There's quite a few reviews of it on Amazon, looks like they work when moving things around on the same floor, but not very helpful moving up and down stairs:

  • Removalists use lifting straps.
One of my mates was a removalist for a while and helped us move house and it made a huge difference cause you lift with your legs and don't have to bend. You can also see better cause the bulk of the item is below your eye level.
There's nothing "special" about them that I can think of though. Just strong webbing.

It's advisable to watch some video of how to use them (if it's available) cause there is a "method" that I can't remember and probably couldn't describe clearly even if I did remember.
