[PC] DRM-free - Dungeon Keeper Gold $2.09 (was $8.49)/Dungeon Keeper 2 $2.09 (was $8.49) - GOG

40

Great prices for these classic cult games.
Yes, graphics have not aged too well but the gameplay is still very fun and the game is very much playable.
Dungeon Keeper Gold also includes the Deeper Dungeons expansion.

Enjoy!

  • Both these games are a lot of fun.

I have finished both and have tried to extend the fun by creating my own huge Skirmish maps.

I wish each team could have more monsters but understand the technical limitations of that age. I love capturing enemy elite creatures and converting them to my side. After a while all I used were Dark Angels and Vampires.

    Well worth the price.

  • Amazing game.

  • remember these from back in the day! never played them myself, but would like to give it a go now. any recommendations on which better for a newbie, given i don't need both? been told the 1st is more fun?

    • Go with 1

    • DK II is DK I with more creatures, more rooms, more spells, more enemies, more features and the same gameplay.

DK I is fun as it was the original, but I think the second one is a decent improvement worth having.

Like Civ I to Civ II and Warcraft I to Warcraft II.

    • 1st is more fun
      2nd has better graphics
      i enjoyed both anyway..

  • I don't know if it's been updated lately, but the GOG version of DK2 always used to crash when playing multiplayer.

  • There is also a known bug in DK2 where certain creatures do not spawn out of the portal in the higher levels. eg. unable to spawn black knights.

But there are unofficial patches that you can do yourself on the game.
